Celebrity Sighting!

Turkey DaySometime last year or so, Shelly Stover moved to New York to pursue a career of some sort. In late November, Shelly showed up on the real television program "Best Week Ever" dressed as a pilgrim! Needless to say, Andrew, Ed, and the guy who played Umbrella Man were shocked.

OMG!

Where can I start? That was so friggin' funny.

"my name was on the credits of the Real World"

"She has really big eyes"

MUHAHAHAHAHAHA!

Oh it brings a tear to my eye to see Spidermonkey people on TV. One of the very few pleasures of the past 2 years has been watching you guys on this website. I am glad to see that you guys are still producing stuff! It makes me want to get off my arse and make some new skit comedy of my own.

It doesn't stop there Shelly fans! You can also catch Shelly in a promo for the Ashlee Simpson show on MTV. It's the one where people are singing "Shadow" in a beauty parlor. Shelly's under one of those hair drying chairs.

Is that true? When did this happen?

I like to make my rounds around the country to visit my fellow monkeys. Last weekend I went to NYC and Shelly filled me in on all her latest ventures. UCB, MTV promos, Orgasms the play, etc...

UCB as is Upright citizens brigade? Thats one of my favorite groups. And the main bunch of them did an offbeat TV show once.

Also Rachel Korowitz and Dannah Feinglass who used to work at the College TV station that I used to work at (GSTV4) are involved with the Theater group.

Rachel helped create the skit comedy show which I eventually took over and ruined before I graduated. (Which is now taken over by a bunch of other college kids and being ruined some more).

Pretty cool stuff. I hope Shelly finds sucess.

More Shelly. Although it is not named, I think I know what "award winning sketch comedy TV show" she is talking about.

Yeah. "The State".
